Hydrogel Polymers Physical Properties


AQUA->PERMTM soft lens polymers are cast from pure 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA) as stress free blanks. They are cast in either flat bottom or rough base curve configurations. A blue locator tint is available. Blanks are packaged anhydrous (dry) in 100 to 200 per pack (as appropriate) in a vapor proof foil envelope. A formulation to make your own 0.9% saline solution and a procedure to characterize various contact lens polymers is available.
